Believing in Yourself: The Key to Manifesting Your Dreams

Hello everyone, and welcome to my very first podcast, Muse Vibes! This is a space where I share and discuss random thoughts that inspire or challenge me. I like to keep things simple because diving deep doesn’t mean you have to drown. This podcast is dedicated to those who want to surround themselves with positive energy and expand their world with curiosity and an open mind.

First, a little about me—I create guided meditations and affirmations on YouTube. At the end of this podcast, I’ll share more details about my channel and why I believe in these practices so deeply. But before that, I want to share a bit of my journey. Over the past ten years, I’ve chased my curiosity, exploring different passions. Like everyone, I’ve had ups and downs, but that’s a part of life’s journey, no matter what you do. So, you might as well do something you love—or at the very least, something you like.

Today, I want to talk about something many people struggle with: belief—specifically, belief in yourself. The belief that you can be better, that you can change, and that you are capable of manifesting the life you want. Many people struggle with manifestation because they don’t honestly believe they can achieve what they desire. How could you know anything different if you grew up in an environment where no one told you that you could do or be anything you wanted? But once you learn that you can, there’s no going back.

If you want to believe in yourself and manifest your dreams, the key is repetition—feeding your mind new information repeatedly until it becomes a habit. Like learning a new language, you must program your mind to think differently. If you’re feeling insecure, anxious, or stuck in negative thinking, you have to take action to shift your mindset.

One way to do this is by getting yourself into a positive state—read an inspirational book, listen to uplifting content, or take a walk outside. If you’re in a place where none of those are possible, try a simple breath reset. Take a deep breath, inhale positive energy, and exhale any negative vibes. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy—just a moment to reset and shift your energy.

The goal is to transition from a negative to a positive state. Feelings of happiness and positivity release dopamine and serotonin, enhancing memory and the brain’s learning ability. When we are in a relaxed, open, and receptive state, we can intercept negative beliefs and replace them with positive ones. If you constantly tell yourself, I can’t, it becomes your reality. But if you start telling yourself the opposite—I can do this. I am good enough. I am smart. I can get through anything.—those words become your foundation. Use them as fighting words. Push back against self-doubt.

When you tell yourself you can’t, you don’t even try. When you tell yourself you can, you take action. You might stumble, but if you keep telling yourself you can and keep getting back up, every setback becomes a lesson. Eventually, you will achieve what you desire. I’ve seen this play out in my own life. The things I worked hard for, I achieved. The things I doubted, I didn’t.

That’s why I started listening to guided meditations and affirmations, spending time in nature, and surrounding myself with positive influences. I wanted to be that energy and have that energy in my life. Creating these meditations for others allows me to give back and spread that light.

The best thing we can do for ourselves is give ourselves the chance to pursue our dreams—rather than shutting them down because we think they’re impossible. The famous quote is true: Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right. It may feel challenging at first because it’s unfamiliar, just like going to the gym for the first time or brushing your teeth with your opposite hand. But the more you do it, the easier it gets.

You wouldn’t know how to walk if you had given up every time you fell, or how to read or understand language without practicing it daily. Just like that, we need to create an environment of encouragement and belief. Surround yourself with positivity, accept your worthiness, and take action. When you do, you’ll watch yourself transform into something extraordinary.

Know that you can be or do whatever you want—as many times as you want.
